Introduction to Digital Photography – Absolute Beginners
This one-day, hands-on workshop, led by international photographer Tristan Hutchinson, will introduce the absolute beginner to the world of Digital Photography. It is aimed at, and most beneficial for, those who have no previous experience in digital photography. There is an option to further develop your skills and confidence with a follow-on 3 day photography workshop.
This workshop will provide participants with a basic grounding in DSLR photography. The workshop will help you understand
– your camera equipment (lenses, sensor and memory cards)
– basic camera functions (camera menus, automatic and manual shooting modes)
– exposure (how your ISO, shutter speeds and aperture interact with each other)
All of this is taught with the students own equipment in mind. You will be given the chance to shoot in the streets around the gallery, followed by a review of your work with the course tutor.
